On April 26, 2025. the first Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany Religious Sisters meeting was held at the convent of the Sisters of the Presentation in Watervliet, Albany. The meeting was organized by Sister Laurie-Marie, C.R., Coordinator of Religious Life and Vocations Awareness in the Diocese. The participants were represented by Sisters from four religious congregations- The Resurrection Sisters, Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, the Sisters of the Presentation and the Dominican Sisters of Peace. The Sisters discussed developing initial steps to revive the Sisters' presence in the diocese in several ways: organizing events, marketing, parish activities, Eucharistic Adoration, developing youth group data bases and many other opportunities of encounter for young women and Sisters. This meeting was the beginning of other gatherings the Sisters are planning to have to revive vocation awareness to the consecrated life in the Diocese of Albany.
