On June 1, 2024 at 11:00 am, a Thanksgiving Mass was held to celebrate the 80^th, 75^th, 70^th, 60^th, 50^th and 25^th religious jubilees of thirteen of our Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm. The Principal Celebrant and Homilist was Rev. Stash Dailey of the Diocese of Columbus. Very Rev. Mario Esposito, O.Carm. was Master of Ceremonies. Rev. Jim Hess, O.Carm., Rev. Ashley Harrington, O.Carm. and Rev. Senan Taylor, OFM were also present as con-celebrants. We are grateful to our Carmelite Brothers from Saint Elias Province for assisting at the liturgy. The chapel was filled with family members and friends as well as Carmelite Sisters from the different Homes served by the Congregation. It was a beautiful Mass celebration as we acknowledged our Sisters’ loving service, dedication, and fidelity to the vocation received from God in serving the aged and infirm. Three of the Jubilarians could not be present for the celebrations and were especially remembered. We also remembered with love and gratitude Sister Mary Ann Immaculate Wasilko, our 70^th Jubilarian, who had gone to her eternal reward on her jubilee year. The Mass was followed by a reception and social gathering at Carmel Hall.

We thank God for the witness of our Sisters to the beauty of a life spent in serving God and His people. We thank our Mother Foundress, Venerable Mary Angeline Teresa, for her vision and pioneering work with the elderly and for this legacy of care imparted to her spiritual daughters. And most all, we thank God for His abiding love, His enduring presence, and never-failing help.
