Feast Day: Sister Philomena Anne of Divine Mercy, O.Carm.

The Feast Day August 11th is the Feast of Saint Philomena. I chose the name Philomena because as a kid, when my dad drove me to school, I heard the lives of saints played on tape. I loved the life of Saint Philomena. The reason I chose her as my religious name was because she was so strong in her faith in God and nothing back then could ever get her to deny her faith. I love God so much that like her, I want to be just as strong, no matter what life throws at me. So I know that with her help and God's, I can be the best Sister I can be for God and our Holy Mother.
